Allfi Waterjet at Fabtech Canada 2018

Posted by David Wootton on

Thanks to an invitation from Samzach Enterprises, our partner in Canada for Allfi Waterjet, Inc. parts and consumables sales, we attended Fabtech Canada 2018 at the Toronto Congress Centre last week.  Dan Smith and his team at Samzach are great partners and worth reaching out to for waterjet system support in Canada.

Dan is the exclusive dealer for Techni Waterjet in Canada and has extensive experience with other waterjet systems, including OMAX, KMT, and Flow.  He’s also expanded the Samzach product offering by creating several warehouses throughout Canada, so abrasive, parts, high-pressure tubing, and other waterjet consumables are much closer to Canadian end users who aren’t in the Toronto area.

While at the show we met George Schade, the inventor/owner of the Xtractor garnet removal system, and who was also in the Samzach booth with us.  Compared with other garnet removal systems on the market his product looks very interesting – much more efficient than other manual methods, very well-built, and much more cost effective than competing systems.  He has systems for sale or for rent throughout the USA and Canada.

We met John Frosheiser and Lori Vawter from MCRL, Inc when they visited the Samzach booth.  They are experts in water treatment systems, including water recycling and reverse osmosis (RO) systems for use where water quality is questionable, or where an end user would want to reduce their water consumption.

Dan Hannigan from High Speed Machinery Technologies – Canada was also in the booth with us, showing his new line of desktop laser marking systems.  Several phone cases might have gotten custom-marked along the way.  Dan H. is partnering with Samzach to support waterjet customers in the Windsor, ON area and an open house including the Techni waterjet system shown at Fabtech is coming soon at his shop.

Overall, Fabtech Canada was an enjoyable show and well worth attending.  We heard about several very interesting projects at the show and look forward to following up on these in the next few days/weeks.

Thanks for the invitation and the hospitality Dan!
